Each with a model lantern at the top, eight tall column-like red balloons for advertisement have been erected for about a fortnight by the road near the school gate. Every balloon is pumped up by an air-blower continuously. To keep standing straight, they are fixed on the ground by ropes on different directions. A tall thin old man is hired to take care of the balloons. On the columns are yellow characters making propaganda for the housing estate to be built behind the school. Its favorable position would play an important role to attract housing purchasers. But the weak housing market might make the real estate developer not too optimistic about the prospect.
