Bad weather had been continuing for a week since last weekend, now cloudy, now misty, and now rainy. Today it was sunny at last. I think it had been long expected by all the people. I opened all the windows of our flat. I washed the dirty clothes taken off a few days before and aired them at the south balcony. What a lovely day to sun my bedding getting rid of the disagreeable smell！ The main street was crowded with people who were tempted by the warm sunshine to go shopping or do something else. I had thought I could make a deposit in the bank quickly towards the close of the morning. But when I got there, queues of customers were still waiting for their turns before the windows.
