Different from the rest

Hot 1448 views. 2013-11-16 00:04 | employees, vacation, primary, another, former

A year before the end of last century I was exiled to a rural primary school about ten kilometers from my former middle school in our little town. At the time I was one of the victims who were thinned out as unnecessary employees. Before long most of my exiled colleagues were reinstated by all means. I was still in exile until the village school I had been sent to was closed last summer vacation. Its students were accepted by the Central School in the town and another village school nearby. I was left to guard the school with our chief. All my colleagues went to work at the Central School. I refused to go there with them for I knew I would have been assigned as doorkeeper. I thought it a humiliating job. Two months later my career as a guard  came to an end. I could choose to work at one of the three schools—two distant rural schools and the Central School. I decided to go to the Happiness School which combines a kindergarten and a primary school with a junior high school. I like the atmosphere there. I'm glad I made a right choice. I would not go to the Central School even if I were offered a teaching job. Although it's near my home, I hate to associate with so many arrogant superiors, disagreeable counterparts and noisy urchins. To see the throngs every day would get on my nerves.

We always hear that once people had power, they are likely to abuse such powers for their own selfish benefit or status. You are clearly a victim of such. I believe there needs to be a revolution in employees management and advancement and there got to be some system to counter the evil acts and intentions of superiors at workplaces.

You have surely done the right thing by holding ground and refuse to be tossed around unreasonably. Now that you have your desired job, you can use your efforts to contribute positively. Evil an never win the righteous.
