In the afternoon before yesterday when I was lying on the kang in our bungalow, I suddenly heard the trembling of the paper replacing the broken piece of glass on the window between the kitchen and east bedroom. Immediately I told mother who was beside me that it must be an earthquake. Then at the dawn that followed, I felt the bed under me moving back and forth several times. I thought an earthquake happened again. But I didn't get up and open my eyes. I lay on bed calmly. At the moment I was not frightened at all. Later it was confirmed that two quakes took place on those occasions.
