Today was warmer than forecast . At about ten o'clock am the south eaves of our bungalow began dripping for the remaining snow on the sloping half of the roof facing the sun was melting. There has been no melting for the past five days. As I did under the same circumstances last weekend, I laid a row of barrels, basins and other receptacles under the eaves to hold the water pouring down for keeping the pavement dry. Six buckets of water were collected and dumped outside before the melting stopped in the afternoon. It was predicted that the temperature will go up further tomorrow. Then I might cycle to work again the coming week.
