The wretched children

All rural schools affiliated with the Central School in our town have been closed except three big ones. Most of the children of these schools have been accepted by the Central School. They have to take buses to and from school every day. The children need to wait for their turns to get on the few buses available which carry them from and back to their homes located far away and in different directions. It is annoying to take the first bus to school and the last one back home in the twilight as now. They leave home too early to have breakfast. When they get to school, they hastily buy something eatable. When they come home in the dark, they must retire immediately after supper for the early rise next day.The good days are gone when they could go to school lazily near their home.

Reply ocean0721 2013-12-5 14:19: Life is cruel to those students. I think their parents should worry about the safety of children when they have to spend more time on the way to school.

Reply sunnyv 2013-12-5 23:10: That is what is wrong with the administrators or authorities these days, they won't consider the whole picture and they don't care what effect it has on the students. How can students still have the energy or will to study properly after such a hectic bus journey to and from school? Pathetic.
