I regularly watch the matchmaking programs with mother on the Life channel of the Jilin TV station and the Entertainment channel of Changchun TV station respectively. The one on Jilin station is named The Whole City in Love, a platform opening to unmarried young people. Unlike this local product, My Choice, the one shown on Changchun station is originally made by Beijing TV station serving the middle-aged and old singles. It is through these interesting programs that I knew of so many stories of the spouse-seekers and learnt some precious morals. There were once two young men coming to The Whole City in Love claiming to live with their parents after wedding. As a result, they went away empty-handed. Their prerequisite scared off all the girls present. If they didn't change their strategy, they wouldn't get married. They can be filial to their parents separated from their wives.
