According to their academic records, learning state and characteristics, the middle school students are nicknamed as follows—

1）  Super Scholar—agreeable，magnanimous and highly intelligent； has a large circle of friends； be thoroughly accomplished in lyre-playing, chess, calligraphy and painting.

2）  Master of Learning — otherworldly, handsome or beautiful；occupied in tackling very difficult problems in the workbooks energetically.  

3）  Ruffian of Learning — sleeps in class and plays wantonly after class but gets excellent grades in exams.

4）  Mediocre Learners—with average intelligence, admire the Super Scholar but despise those with lower marks, believe they could surpass their idol one day by working hard.

5）  Fruitless Learners—diligent but with bad results.
