Careful citizens might have found that the coming Lunar New Year of Horse is a leap year with 383 days from 31 January 2014 to 18 February 2015 by the Gregorian calendar for an extra September has been put in the lunar calendar with the first beginning from September 24 and the second from October 24 respectively. According to meteorologists, at present the commonly used calendars include the Gregorian calendar, the lunar calendar and the lunisolar calendar. The current lunar calendar is a lunisolar calendar which adopts seven leap years in nineteen lunar years.
