The other day second elder sister informed mother first sister would come after the Lantern Festival. First sister had long planned to visit mother with her first son. Mother had  second sister tell  first sister to bring over some sweet potatoes from our native land . Her trip had been delayed for some reason. Her arrival early this afternoon gave mother and me a good surprise. She intended to come soon for an early departure so she started her trip earlier than planned . It took her eighteen hours by train from Hengshui to Changchun. Her considerate second son bought her a berth ticket which made her look fresh and uncrumpled after a long and arduous journey.
