Last night I shared the same bedroom with son and one of his classmates at his school against the regulations of their dormitory. It had been evening when the meeting for students' parents was over. It was too late to catch the last bus home with the exception of taking a taxi at a heavy cost. I adopted son's suggestion to pass the night in his bedroom in secret. But this couldn't escape the eyes of the vigilant watchman. Before going to bed, I heard him informing the staying parents to leave through a loudspeaker at the other end of the corridor near the staircase and then he warned that he would make an inspection of every bedroom in the hope of seeing no outsiders remain. After a while when I had undressed and lain down under the quilt, he stepped into our room asking son and his classmate their names and who else dwelled there. He pointed at me and questioned them who I was. I felt nervous at the moment pretending to be in sleep with the back of my head towards him. Soon he went away. After I got up this morning, he walked into our room and asked if I had spent the night there. I had to admit with an excuse. He said he would not see this happen again. I think he had found out my presence when checking our room last night.
