Keep impulsion under control

It cost Mr. B over ￥2，000 to cover the medical expenses of a student whom he had beaten on the neck and made a big swelling. I first heard the thing last Monday soon after I was badly hurt by kicking a boy. I felt lucky not to have wounded the boy. If the boy rather than I had been seriously injured, I would have got into trouble like Mr. B. I was so frightened to think of the situation. The suffering and the expenditure caused by my folly is trivial compared with the wretched colleague of mine. From now on I will give up any physical punishment upon children. I must keep calm and reasonable in any irritating circumstances in order to avoid any impulsive behavior leading to disasters.

- Times have changed my friend. People know their rights nowadays and knows how to claim damages when their rights are violated, especially physical abuse. I guess you would have to change with the trend.
Actually being sarcastic or having a little sense of humor may be beneficial to yourself and the students. Relax for the benefits of your students because your role is not only teaching, you also have the responsibility to help them emotionally. You surely can do that.
