I didn't know son would come back on Tomb Sweeping Day before second elder sister told me when I phoned her to express my opposition to the plan that her son was to work overseas for higher wages. That was on last Friday. In the afternoon, there came flurries of snow. The large soft flakes melted as soon as they fell on the road. But the fields and roofs were all whitened. I was worried how I would go to the tombs next day. In the past I always finished the visits before the Day. But this year the bad weather postponed my tomb sweeping. Fortunately, I fulfilled the service in the coming frozen morning.
