I found that something we desired would be within our reach sooner or later. It's unnecessary to look for or seek after it immediately. We'd better wait patiently for the thing to present itself to us. For example, straws are useful for us to bind corn stems. We would use those I had picked up at the roadside before. But we were a bit short of them recently. The other day I asked our vice-chief for two bundles of them for he is a rice planter. He agreed to give me readily. I happened to find a lot of straws discarded on my way back soon after. So I told him I wouldn't use his any more.

- These days most people would consider straws as impractical waste material and would rather buy plastic pvc strings to tie things because it is quite cheap and convenient. However, we don't have to waste money and materials. Nature has provided us with most of the materials we need. I remember when I was a kid, my mom used to take me to the wet market and the vendors would use those long straws to tie up fresh provisions securely. At home we would reuse those straws for household purposes.
Another thing is that I recently stayed in a classy hotel and I found the the bed mattress was made from dense strong dry straws. It was surprisingly comfortable and seems healthy as it does not use artificial materials.
The trend around the world is 'back to nature' and simple life. I still use modern electronics, because we need to keep a balance of essential communications, knowledge and information. I found simple living to be more relaxing and satisfying. I adhere to this simple lifestyle without being enslaved by complicated electronics.
