It was forecast overcast tomorrow and then sunny the following day. The long spell of rainy weather will come to an end in our region. The grain seedlings could hardly grow any higher in such chilly wet weather. Mr. Shao didn't wash his newly-bought car as frequently as before for the dirty weather. The tallest building under construction in our neighborhood has reached the tenth floor. The workers could have been building at a faster pace if it hadn’t been for the bad weather. Nevertheless, their speed of construction seemed quick to me. I had been looking forward to the coming of continuous fine days for so long in order to carry back the left corn stems at school. Now I've abandoned the plan because their former owner had almost taken them away during this period.

Reply sunnyv 2014-5-21 14:05: Our weather department advise us to get ready for sudden changes in weather in the coming months. Last few days, we saw sudden downpours of heavy rain followed by bright sunshine immediately.

It is interesting to watch tall buildings come up in low rise areas because it actually changes the view of those areas. I looked at old photos of my area and was surprised to note that it was water before, filled up and built on.
