The
celebrations concluded towards noon. It was hot. The presidium on the rostrum
suffered from the scorching sun for so long because it was not shaded. I stayed
indoors hearing the music and singing outside. Occasionally I went to the
corridor for a few glances at the performance or the game under way through the
windows. Knowing the Dragon Boat Festival holiday began from afternoon, many students
hurried home without eating lunch. So a lot of meal prepared was left at the
school kitchen. I wonder how such plenty of food will be disposed of. Maybe most
of it is to be discarded after getting bad in such hot weather. I think the
best way is to distribute it among us teachers taking home.
