She's tall and slim, running a restaurant with her father by the lake situated about five kilometers southwest of our town. The lake was once referred to as May 1st Reservoir but now Kalun Lake. There was ever held the National University Games when it was bragged as a well-known resort. A few years after the sports meeting I took wife and son joining the free tour of the lake organized for the teachers of our former school. Yesterday I went there for the second time for nephew's engagement ceremony. What a change！The entrance seemed a little bleak and desolate. The gate and its keepers were all gone. Some parts of the road were under repair. Few people and vehicles could be seen there so it was quiet and clean. The hotels behind the densely growing trees must have been deserted long. What surprised me most was the extensive surface of the lake with green hills and woods as background in the distance. I enjoyed the cool breeze from the lake in the restaurant. We waited and waited until all the other customers were served. The dishes tasted good. I brought home some leftovers for mother who was watching over brother's houses.
