Beginning of Autumn

Early this afternoon on our way to son's school we saw two different kinds of sprinkling trucks in the street of Changchun. They were trying to suppress the dust and lower the temperature on the road. Today is the Beginning of Autumn. Son's summer vacation has come to an end. The weather obviously gets cooler. I was not sweaty on the journey. Now I have reached 50, the early autumn of life. Although I think I haven’t idled away my youth, I'm afraid that the field I've been plowing and sowing maybe will yield next to nothing in return. To my satisfaction, son seems to have a bright future.

- In my city, the beginning of autumn doesn't lower the temperature at all. I believe this is the distinction between the north and the south, because the summer vacation would be end until the end of August here.
