Bordering our housing estate gate are several barbecue restaurants opened side by side. Recently the restaurateurs each have installed a smoke sucker before their gridirons occupying the sidewalk in front. Now the barbecuing guys can avoid being over the offensive smoke for the suction fan has displaced it towards the road with great force. As a result, it is the pedestrians who are suffering from it. They have to quicken their pace with their breath held when passing the spot. People prefer to put up with the public hazard rather than eliminate it. And this helps the evil force to grow.
