Only when I watch the original English films can I realize the beauty of the spoken tongue which I still have great difficulty to understand completely except with the help of English or Chinese subtitles. It's a pity that I can't put to good use the English study I dedicated to. Although English has no practical value in my daily routine, it opens a wonderful world through these original films. When I am intoxicated with the melodious dialogues within, who can say it's not better than the attainment of external aims？Perhaps this is the reward I deserve for the efforts of these years.
