Two ground floor stores let out

One of my former colleagues rented out his two ground floor flats as stores at ¥50,000 a year each. Absent from his job for some time, he has gone to Shanghai with his wife accompanying their daughter who has not found a job after graduating from university. It was said the girl has been so terribly spoilt that she can’t pass a day without the care of her mother. She was extravagant in her way of living although she earned no money. She seemed to me a mediocre and talentless girl who could hardly make a career. Perhaps marrying her to a rich man is the best solution for the indulgent parents.
