Now and then I dreamed of a steep slope looming on my way. It was nearly vertical and impossible for me to climb. But I saw others beside me go up easily. I was usually anxious at these times until I woke up because it seemed as if it was real. I can even recall that the slopes were just sited not far from either end of the East Bridge of our town. In fact, there’s a steep slope near the bridge. Perhaps the slope in dreams denoted some difficulties I can’t tackle in reality. And there are really many problems that face me.
