The other day mother told me that our pump failed to pump out enough water to fill the jar near the mouth of the well. Then I had a feeling of an impending trouble. I found our peaceful life is always dotted with displeasures irregularly. Later I witnessed the same occurrence when I drew out water by the pump. I thought it the result of the decline of water table. I had not lowered the pump deep into the well water. Now it maybe became submerged too shallow to pump out sufficient water. This morning after I switched on the pump, I saw no water coming out of the tube. At first I assumed that either the water tube was disconnected somewhere or the pump refused to work. After an inspection, I discovered neither the pump nor the tube had any problems. This time I lowered the pump into water a few feet deeper than before.
