Excuse for my long absence

Under the patronage of brother—in—law, who works at the local telecommunication service, our computer could have been linked to the internet for years with no charge. But those good old days were gone when son graduated from high school. Now the problem I faced was either to pay ¥ 1,000 a year for keeping in touch with the internet or to tolerate the separation from the exciting world I’d been used to. Although I could afford the expense, I was grudging of the sum of money. Half a year later, a great change occurred beyond my expectation. Towards the end of last winter vacation, son brought back a magic gadget like a mobile phone from Dalian, which can join the internet when close to a computer online. Then I can listen to English or watch original English films and plays over it at school. To my pleasant surprise, this Wednesday at the desk of each of our school staff a computer was installed. Then I couldn’t wait to search for our writing website and turned to my home page. I was grateful to one of my friends here for the message sent to me in which she expressed her concern. With such a good condition provided, from now on I have no reason not to contribute here regularly as before.

Reply teadrinking 2016-4-18 20:12: Sometimes we have to pay off something. I do think so. Thus I never feel sorry paying on those deserved stuff without hesitation.

Currently, the internet fee is still a little high though it has been asked to reduce to be a reasonable price.

Perhaps you got a promotion at work and forgot us. Now we know it is due to the stoppage of internet connection. Yes, it is quite expensive to connect to the internet, but who can avoid the connection? Without the internet, you would be missing a lot of fresh information and knowledge.

Out connection costs ¥3.800 per year but we still have to accept it as it is our connection to our home and the world.

Nice to have you back here. Your simple and worthwhile lifestyle is impressive to friends here. Keep in touch.
