Reading and Appreciation had been a good literary program on the China National Radio. It has been cancelled for many years. I first listened to the program in my childhood in Hebei. I still remember Han Yu's poem To Zhang ,assistant of magistrate, on the night of the fifteenth of the eighth month by the lunar calendar, and Su Shi's prose，Ode to the Red Cliff, were being read and analysed over the radio then. Fortunately, I can listen to the recordings of those analyses read by the well-known announcers like Xia Qing and Fang Ming at any time on the phone as long as it is connected with the net.
