Some people say university students should pay for their tuition fees.Some others say the government should pay for the tuition fees.What is your opinion? At least 250 words.
Does students should pay for their full tuition fees ? My answer is Yes. Why is that?
First,go to college is a personal choice for high school leavers.University education is also a personal investment. After receiving high level education in university for 3 or 5 years, graduate students can find an ideal job or gain a valuable development oppotunity as some sort of payback to this education investment.So it is necessary for students to pay for their full tuition fees.
Second, the finance support of education from government is not enough. If we want to remain the high quality of education, we need well-paid professors, various advanced facilities and updating fees for old or damaged teaching equipments.
For those students who want to go to college but cannot afford it, a feasible practice to solve this issue is government grant or bank loan. After they graduate ,students can use their salaries to pay the tuition fees.Also, as a college student, they can study hard to win scholarships or to work part time.Both options are good and practical for students to earn money and gain work experience.
In fact, government do have finance fund to support universities on campus construstion and teaching appliance and so on.But when it comes to government pay for students' tuition fees, it will lay a heavy burden on government finance budget and it also can lead to educational resource's waste.
Let students pay for their own tuition fees is also an efficient way to use educational resource.Students will more cherish their oppotunity of receiving education and time in college,if they acknowledge the visible value of university education.
In a word, students should pay for their tuition fees and also poor students don't have to give up further education because of lack of money.
