Some people hold that old people should be taken care at home,while others think they should be placed in old people's house,what is your opinion? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.You should write at least 250 words.
Where dose the old people should be taken care of ? Home or the old people's house? I think it depends.Depending on whether they have chirldren,whether they want to spend their life at home with family or at old people's home with other old people.
If they have daughters or sons, they might want live with them,thus,they can always see them,share chirldrens' happiness and sorrow.The other way around,chirldrens also want to take good care of their parents by themselves,thus,expressing their love back to their parents just like parents used to raised them with love,taking care of them with a whole heart. What's more? Chirldrens might think they have the ability and responsbility to taken good care of their parents.
If they are alone without spouses or chirldren, they maybe want to go to the old people's house where they can receive help with their daily life,like cooking,cleaning,recreation,medication and so on.Or they may don't want leave their own house where they spent almost their whole life.Their own home which fill up with the past time memories about old friends and old stories they cherish.The old people's house,however,in their eyes is another strange place they are not familiar with. Old people have a tendency to stay in old environment,they are not willing to change this.
For old people like this,alone at home,the community have the responsbility to pay a special attention to take care of them.Volenteers in the community can help them with their house cleaning,health medication care and other free fee services.Thus,old people alone at home still can live a convinient life at their own house.
Taking the current situation of old people's house development into account, I think it's better to keep old people at home.Old people's house in China is not well developed, so I'm not sure old people can be taken good care of at the old people's house.News on the paper or TV used to exposure the old people abuse at old people's house.
In consideration of the old people's will,where they want to spend their rest life is their call.We can not make this decision for them.As for me ,I would like to take care of my parents at home.I have the ability,responsbility and it's my obligation to take good care of them.Even though, I know a big familiy live together might cause many conflicts but the happiness and sorrow we teast together made us a stronge family fill with love.
