Don’t worry about “the Chinese English”

585 views. 2011-2-23 14:52

If some one said you were saying “Chinese English”, don’t worry about it

Many of us are keen to improve our English, a very general question such as, “how can I improve my spoken English?” are very difficult to answer other than to say you need to speak as much English as possible and practice whenever you can, it’s much better if we have a particular thing we want to know, a question is about overcoming the shyness and having the confidence to speak English, for me this is a very important part of learning English, we need to build up our confidence to actually use the language, we should always talk to ourselves: don’t worry about making mistakes, nobody is perfect and in real world of communicating in foreign language nobody expects perfection

We should aim to express our ideas and communicate with another person rather than worry about making little grammatical mistakes, after all, even native speakers make mistakes with their English from time to time, also don’t think that people will laugh at us for our mistake, if we make the effort to speak, it shows that we have the courage to try

One thing is: don’t whisper, speak loudly, we should never be ashamed of our English as long as we try our best, many people will help and support us all the way, do you have any ideas on how to build confidence and get over feeling shy? Come on folks, let’s get some good tips and ideas up

Perfect advice. Yes that is the way to learn. Who cares if you speak Chinese-English or Chinglish. The beginning of learning is always weak and you got to start somewhere. People may laugh at you when you are not yet fluent, but who cares? A child learns how to walk by falling all the time. A child learns to talk by mumbling. So what? Well, I am now learning Chinese and people laugh at my funny chinese. What to do? Stop learning? I just laugh together with them hahaha... I got to go on learning and I am not afraid because one day I will speak fluently.
