The expectation from boss is always more than what you can do, we can understand there are so many things that boss need handle and the big boss always hope few people cover a lot of things, so any of us must work hard to meet the need, meanwhile we know that we can't make everything perfect, but we have to do our best. All of that can keep us at safe place even we are not strong

- A boss sitting at the his desk knows what is happening in his office and what his staff is doing. He would certainly know which staff is trying to help the company what which staff is there just for the salary. A boss would not be so stupid as for let productive staff leave his company. He is the one who suffers if the company is not running well.
On the other hand, there are bosses who are biased and favors staff he likes personally, even if they can't perform in work properly. Some bosses favor pretty girls while ignoring those who are breaking their back trying to work hard.
So, all this depends on the type of boss you have and the reputation of the company. Staff should work hard if you have a good and honest boss. I once had a boss who really appreciated my work and helped me go up in the company. However, I had to leave to develop my own business. To this day, I meet my former boss during festivals for the chance he gave me before.
