When do you burst into tears?

I remerber it happend at 19 years old, I am on winter vacation. I bought one thing for my grandpa that can protect the knee, I put it on the bottom of suitcase and want to give a surprise to him. Then a neighbour suddenly ask me why buy this and why didn't know my grandpa pass away; when I heard this news, I burst into sadness but no too much tears, it is very painful, After many years it is not good as mentioned

- You have done nothing wrong. You wanted to make grandpa happy and wanted to give him a surprise. Nowadays, everyone work in other cities, so it is not surprising, when something happens back home and you don't know about it. Your granpa got your present even if he is not alive because it came from your heart. No regrets.
