After months indulging in video games, Frank becomes an aloof, impatient, peevish person. He didn’t have any close friends who can give him some lecture notes to review. Although he went to class sporadically and tried to pay attention to what the teacher said, he could never endure more than 5 minutes. “I will pass the exam anyway. It’s not gonna be hard. So relax and then think about which game I should play after class.” Optimism is a good thing, it always helps you to relax.

Finally, at the end of the first semester,  final exams came. Frank could barely focus on study, because there were 7 courses with all the content that he needed to put into his mind. “How do I pass all the exams with only a week study but without anyone’s guidance?” “Optimism can’t save you this time, you need to be resolute. Wake up! Man!” Frank really woke up this time. No gaming in this week and he kept this monotonous studying life for 7 days. What a miracle! Frank changed to another person!

After all the final exams and a week nervous waiting, Frank received his grade. He failed 2 courses. “2 failures out of 7. What a great success for a person who only studied a week! College life is easy after all. Thanks to the legacy (a clever mind) my parents gave me.” 2 failures didn’t disappoint Frank or made him even a little bit morose. His born optimistic attitude cheered him up again. No wander, the old Frank came back and took control of the whole body.
