With all the euphemistic language displayed by the Japanese government officials handing the nuclear leaking crisis, there is one commidity short of supply: information.
Never has a natural disaster been drawn attention by its neighboring countries so than Japan's. With the quake, sunami and the nuclear power plant explosions in succession, never has its weak and rudderless leadership and governing system been clearly exposed. All the information are told in equivocal way and evasive press conferrence followed the government unformative briefings.
Handling a crisis need assertive, and decisive leadership. The government should improvise solutions to all the possible occurances facing them. Not only amphibology increase rather decrease the fear of the public, but also raise the anxiety of the people of its neighbouring countries.
As is known to all, Japan have the similar culture as ours-"the-less-than-straight" talks-is deeply rooted, that avoids the direct reference to unpleasantness. For example, until recently, the doctor never tells the patient when a cancer is diagnosed, ostensibly to protect the patients from distress. However it won't help the patient in any way, on contrarily, it will make the patients more anxious and sometimes it is worsening the disease.
Now it is right time before it is too late to tell the pulich what is on the earth really happening now in the 4 nuclear reactors. The government need not worry about the impact if the truth unveils, let all the neighboring countries help each other to handle the crisis since it is not their own. We have one earth, we are the villagers. United we stand.
