I'm working on a mini-series titled "Wrong", and here is the seventh chapter from
Part I: Liberty and Democracy.

Chapter Seven: A Wild Goose Chase

In my life time, I've had the pleasure of knowing a few of those geniuses hidden in plain sight. Though abounded with a great deal of knowledge, and blessed with talents themselves not even aware of. They live simple lives with their equally ordinary jobs. They're sub-par looking, don't talk much, and they're not particularly good at dealing with people. Such personality has nothing to do with their ability. But it has everything to do with their probability of been publicly elected as the president of a country. Because the ability to run a nation smoothly and efficiently is not of election's concern. The first priority for any presidential candidate, is by all means, to get as many votes as possible. For that, they need to have their armed eloquence coated with a credible voice; an anti-depressive grin manifested on an amiable face; a dapper set of costume wrapped on a preferable body figure, and lastly, a dandy posture decorated cap-a-pie in charisma to complete an overall respectable image, which they supposedly, used to show confidence they don't have, and make promises they can't keep. I'm sorry if this reads awfully like a job description for a salesperson.

From what I can see, democracy, particularly US democracy, in a nutshell, is amateur voter elects amateur salespersons disguised as presidents to make amateur decisions and lead a nation of amateurs on an amateurish wild goose chase that changes direction every four years.

I don't want to let you down, but I learn English sans proper English lesson or systematic training, in fact any training at all, besides A, B, C, D, alphabet and "How do you do?", "Nice to meet you.", "How are you?", "I'm fine, thank you." blah blah blah. And by the way, I'm not a college graduate.

Now you got to the point. the question here is, is a good salesman capable of being a good leader? or a tongue-tied talent is more fit into this job? i really don't know....

I feel your articles are a little biased although there is no absolute objectivity.

The objective of these articles is to expose the shortcomings of the concepts in question. I hope you're not mad at fire for being too hot, or water being so wet, cause that's the way it has to be.
