working as a teacher for one year
I began to work from September,2010. I still remember my first class for the students in this school.When I received the mark of their English, I was very surprised to see they were the worst in Grade One, I really felt terrible.When I stood on the platform, I was nervous because it was the first class I had in my life. I tried to introduce myself and express my experience and feelings in English. However, what I got was 60 pairs of confused eyes. Of course, I failed in the class because only a few students repond to my questions. What's more, I don't know the reason. After class, I talked to their headmaster, then I knew that they just couldn't understand what I said in English.
Better late than never.I use both English and Chinese in my class to make myself understood. My brother advised me to come to theclassroom during the break to play some music for the students. Since then I had a better relation with the students and they like me so much that they added me as friends on QQ, talking to me when they were at home. Some of them even shared me with some secrets. They invited me to the party celebrating the New Year, we really enjoyed ourselves at the party.
Sometimes they were naughty. They are so interested in my personal affairs that they want me to show the pictures of my boyfriend and asked me to tell the story of our love.They talked with each other when I was speaking, which makes me really angry with them so I cried at them. Sometimes they slept in my class. Anyhow, most of them are very cute and they are so considerate that they finish the task I gave to them on time and do well in the exam.Now their English mark are on the top of Grade One. I am so proud of them.
Honestly, I really like them very much. However, this term gonna finish. I must say goodbye to them because I probably leave this school to be with my boyfriend.
I wish they could study hard and be admitted to their favourite college, living a happy life. May God bless them.

- Teaching cannot be seen as a job. It has to be seen as a mission and contribution. Children remember their teachers for life and I still remember my first teachers clearly. It is a pity that you are giving up teaching to be with your boyfriend. However, there are always sacrifices in life and it is unavoidable. Wish you happy days ahead.
