I think it's quiet reasonable, In the past, I spend most of my time with various kind of books, But I pay few attention to communicate with people, so what I care about most is logic rather than the speaker's attitude.
I used to interest in collecting many kinds of knowledge, natural science and social science. They are mainly store in my brain, and I barely take practise to verify them. But now I think konwledge is not for memory and usage. It can stimulate useful thinking. I think this is the most important value of knowledge. There are so much konwledge in the world, one should not pay too much time on collect and memory knowledge without certain purposes. Because if one spend too much time to learn various knowledge, he can not have deep understanding of a specific konwledge though this can broad his sight. What's more, Though knowledge is very important, the meaning of life is not just learning , a more important thing is taking action, create value by yourself, make some change to the world ,even they are so small.
Nowadays, I'm trying to take part in various activites. to learn things which can not find in books, to learn to communicate with different people, to train the ability of thinking, all in all, these are needed once I go to society.
From my recent work, I know work need not only technical, but also EQ(emotional quotient). And generally EQ is more important than technical. For example, when the boss give you a task, the task may be impossible to finish by one people. Then one have to cowork with other people, especially , when one is a manager , he have to deal with the boss and his colleague. He have to understand the boss's thinking, and arrange different task to colleagues, who is good at this job, who is good at that job , who is diligent , who is lazy. who is responsible, and who is not . what can you offer to them, how to make every one try their best. The most hard part is when the boss, the manager, and his colleagues have some benefit coflict, how to deal with the problem.It's like a multi-party game.
Some employees is quiet good at deal with technical problem , but it's hard for them to achieve good positions, few promotion.Because they do not know how to deal with people. Some people is quiet responsible in job , but barely think about his own benefit, so he can not have a good achievement. A important thing is taking both common and private benefit into consideration.
