I woke up with a really bad head.My legs were stiff on accout of a whole afternoon's bike ride yesterday.Some of my classmates invited me to cycle along the Xiang River(湘江) 。I was excited of course.No.1,I haven't ridden a bike since last summer vacation and it's almost one year I haven't touched it.No.2,I have been busy on study for a long time and I'm eager to relax.

   We departed to 天马学生公寓 by bus at 2:30 p.m. Maybe God bestowed us a nice afternoon for trip.It was blowing breeze,neither hot nor cold,no glare of the sun.It's some weather,in spades!Everyone of us hired a bike.I chose a light one which seemed designed for child since I couldnot handle a heavy one. We rade along the Xiang River in the nice breeze.Looking under the bridge,I saw a wide stretch of grassland carpeted with scattered wild flowers,so wide that it followed the long bridge,which takes half an hour by bus and  two or three hour's walk."Wow!There're so many birds and planes in the sky!"One of my classmates screamed.Before I looked up,a big eagle came into view!A boy and his grandfather was trying to make it fly.Looking around ,quite a few children and old people were flying kites.No wonder there's an ocean of "birds & planes" in the sky!I'm not good at remembering the route so I had to follow my classmate, a boy ,who was the leader of us and was rather familiar with that area.I had to spare no effort to catch him in view of my small tyres,which ran two circles only equalling with their one circle.

  We rade on bridge,on wood,on grass,on road,on cobbles,then we went to Nanjiao Park.I had no idea the Xiang River was so close to Nanjiao Park!We saw some ladies were taking photos in wedding dress.And there was an uncompleted railway.After a short rest,we went on.We then on our way to 沿江风光带.I saw a bust of young Chair Mao.It's so magical!I've been in Changsha for almost three years and how could I never know it!I barely recognised him!My classmates told me that it's because Chair Mao once visited Xiang River at his young age that people there sculpted a bust of him as a rememberance.He seemed to bow his head,overlooking his people;or it looked like he was teaching people reading poems.沿江风光带 was full of hustle and bustle,people there were playing tennis,trimming vegetables,playing chess,walking dogs,playing erhu fiddle or just sitting or standing,looking the bustling people.Three old women were even drinking beer under two big leaves carved from stone.All of them were happy and smiling.How I wish I could live there!River,trees,grass,flowers and fresh air,breathing-taking environment.

   We carried bicycles up the stairs and another bridge met our eyes.It named "猴子石大桥".Suddenly,I saw a stone-carved monkey squatting in a tree.Then another hanging,the third wearing a clothes...There were 10 monkeys in all.The smallest and funniest monkey lying plaint in his mother's arms.his eyes were blue!I got to know how the name 猴子石大桥 came into being."We ride over the bridge and see who's the champion!"Someone suggested.Hardly had she spoken when all of them got on their bikes and rode off,before I took my mind back from monkeys.There were too many people,too many motorcycles,and of course,too many bikes besides ours.Maybe yesterday was really a nice day for cycling.I biked all the way across them carefully and dared not speed up,it really needed rich skill and strong nerves to pass them.Some time,I even had to stop to give way for those motorcycles on account of their blaring noise of horns.

   Finally,I arrived the end of the bridge.But my classmates were missing!"Where are they?"I murmured unpatiently and anxiously.I didn't take a phone with me,nor I know the way to that shop where we hired our bikes.I had butterflies in my stomach.After several minutes,I told myself:"I can go out of the trouble!I have to calm down!"Then I came to a traffic police for help.She said:"I'm sorry.My phone is power off.Maybe I can help you ask a passer-by to borrow a phone to you."She saw a man was calling and stepped forward,waiting till he finished.She gave his phone to me quickly after a short whisper to that man.What was unfortunate was that I couldn't remember any of their numbers!Then I tried to call one of my roommates.I was totally unfortunate that there was no answer!I was almost desperate!Half an hour past,still no familiar people came.

   OK,I decided to find the way,I mean to follow the bus since I happened to remember that the shop was right beside a board of bus.I told that traffic police that if any of my classmates came to find me,she could tell he or she I was on my way to that shop.I rade very quickly,a speed I've never imagine.I think if I keep on cycling like this everyday,I can live up to 100 years old!And I found that my two-tyre bike was even faster than that four-tyre car!And I didn't feel tired!It seemed that one person did really have a lot of potential,as long  as you can exploit.I heard wind blowing around my ears.My two legs kept turning at lightning speed,repeating in a circle action.First,I followed a bus No.804,then No.152,then No.63.Finally I got to a place where I had a little impression.And just at that time,I heard a boy calling me.I looked around,seeing my classmate cycling along the opposite road.I was walking on air!I found my classmate!Or more exactly was that my classmate found me!I was not alone finally!I raised my voice and squealed :"Please call others that I'm all in one piece!Thank you!"Finally,we arrived at that shop.Our classmates had been already waiting for long."Are you OK?Tired enough,aren't you?"They gathered around me."Thank you!I'm on cloud nine!I managed to ride here on my own!I can still ride another one hour!"I laughed/

   Evening was drawing on,we found a nice restaurant,a name called 石锅鱼 or other,I cannot remember now.We filled our stomach with that special fish.I've never eaten so many fresh fish thanks to my dislike of the offensive smell of fish,I just have a crush on cured fish.Maybe because it was really delicious ,or maybe I burnt too much calories.Anyway,we were happy.We never talked so much though we've been in the same class for almost 3 years!And of course,that was the first time we played together,ate together.We usually went out with roommates.

   From yesterday,I learned two lessons:No.1,wherever you go,you have to remember the route,or the mark building;No.2,if got lost or caught in any plight,calm down and try to find a navigate.You can never count on others but yourself!
