how do you say goodbye to someone you can't imagine living without?

Somebody told me, he's used to seperating, he used to work in a big company, Taiwannese company, he witnessed many many colleagues leave and go to find another job, he said he's sad at first when seeing people leave, but, gradually, he's used to it, he said it's normal...Me, I know, it's normal, but, if sth., sb. u care a lot, is going to leave, u will separate maybe forever, maybe never see each other again, how can u still think it's normal, how can u accept this, go through with this? How to say good-bye to someone you can't imagine living without?

- Nobody can make sure that he or she will stay at the same company all of his or her life. So it is a normal phenomena to witness the co-workers to say good bye to the company. Do you think so?

- yes, I agree what you said, but, what I really mean is, my boyfriend and I work in the same company, and, now, both of us decide to quit, and, I'm wondering, whether we will break up, just like those who graduate from university....

- It is not necessary for lovers to work in the same company. I think it's ok if you work in distinct companies, but in the same city. Even if you work in different cities, one of you need to make sacrifice. The result of your love is determined by your attitude whether you want to last it whatever difficulties.
