But until I go there, I know that, those "mysterious, wonderful, holy" pyramids or temples or sphinx, OMG, it turn out not that "pretty"! Never been pretty like what we saw from Internet, what we learnt from text book! And extremely hot hot hot, dry dry dry, dust, sand, soil, smelly, can't breathe well! No fresh air!

Cause the sunshine is too harsh and we feel too dry, my nose even bleeding at night, we don't have much mood on sight seeing, cause we really need courage to go out, glad we are with group tour, most time on the tour bus, and the most surprising thing is that the temples there are all outdoor! Just some incomplete wall, some incomplete soil column, they call Temple!! Then we stand just under the harsh sun, can't open our eyes, watch those wall, those soil, those incomplete pictures on the wall out of the corner of our eyes, listen to the guide, who use a book tell us what there were thousands years ago...

Even the pyramid, the sphinx,,, there are three pyramids, one sphinx, the first pyramid was 153 meters, now is 147 meters, the second is about 100 meters, the third is 20-30 meters, we can only go near the first pyramid, cause there's a road to get through, but the second and third, can just look at it from a distance, with sands between, and all round is desert, and some camels there, some local people do some business there....the second pyramid is not so compele also, cause people stole some stone to make house! haha, funny. and also very strange, cause the stone is 2-50 ton each piece, we wonder how did they steal?? 

So maybe cause reasons above, and culture shock (different food, jet lag, and get up too early (usually is 6 or 7 am, we fly from Hurghada to Cairo, get up on 3am. and when we back, we get up at 1 am to the airport) and our temple is indoor, like a tower, with many floors, with fan or air conditioner) we are kind of disappointed, and not so energetic, until we went to a hotel named serenity, oh, that's the best place I think, in red sea province, that's really cool, that hotel is in the desert also, but when you check in, you'll find a very beatiful garden, fantastic swimming pool, cool pretty red sea! That's wonderful! That's like paradise suddenly! Everyone should wear a ring, blue or black or red, cause it's also a resort, if you live in, should wear a ring and can enjoy buffet there.

But that hotel must has a very long history, it's very big, with many two-three floor buildings, inside is not that pretty, is kind of old, and use key to open the door, haha

And, there's a lot of mosquitos, they are very small, red, when you are visiting those temple or just sit there, suddenly, your arm, your back, your leg, feel like an injection, then you find those little red mosquitos are biting you, then, you should take out a very famous made-in-china, cooling oil! 

The cooling oil is so so so so popular in Africa, you can't imagine how people like it! 

And maybe many people even don't know this magic stufff, it was very popular in my childhood, I remember my Mom always use on acupoint like temple, to cure a cold, cure headache, and other illness, I never knew, after so many years, it has been so popular in Africa! People just do the same as my mother's age do, they use cooling oil for all illness, and for cooling down, and for anti-mosquitos.

And everywhere there're a lot of people asking for "qing liang you" from Chinese people, this is the Chinese pronounciation of "cooling oil". They all know how to say this in Chinese, cause there're a lot Chinese, Italian and Russian go there for holiday, the TV have Italian channel, Russian channel, and English channel but with Chinese captions! 

And even when we are going through the security check in the airport, those inspectors will check our bags, and their purpose is to find cooling oil, not dangerous thing! Very funny.

And whenever you need some help, even is just to go to the restroom/ W.C, they also need tips, and you can also give them cooling oil.

And except cooling oil, pen is also warmly welcomed as a good gift, they like it very much, even better than cooling oil. But they will not ask from travellers, but if you give them both to choose, they will choose pen, even those old man. (There are few women on the street, even on the plane, all are air host, not air hostess) I don't know why all man need pen.

And it is kind of poor (I'm sorry to say this), only in the center there are some old cars, no traffic light, many people go out with horse or donkey! and few old buses, also few taxies.

I love to watch Chinese costume drama, and there're a lot people ride horse, seems very proud and happy and easy, I did wish one day I can have a ride on horse, but I never knew it's so so smelly and so tall!

And when we go to visit the pyramid, we saw camels walking in the desert, it's so smelly and about 2 meters high, and it's skin is so so hard and thick! haha

And again, can't breathe well, cause toooo much dust, too dry, too harsh sunshine.

At last, judging from the photos we took, I think it is quite beautiful actually, especially the sky, the sea, the hotel, and some places in the center, less people, quiet, not like crowded China.

And people there is very very kind, always smile.
