The class was a failure . At the very beginning , I had planned to finish the tasks ,such as  explaining the language points and deal with the mistakes made by the students in the homework . In order to activate the students , I got the students to find out useful expressions in the text by themselves first instead of offering them those as usual .The students are enthusiastic to write down what they think important on the blackboard . Some students even came to the blackboard more than twice .

Later , we went through the text together . I emphasized and added more uses of some words . But the bell rang when we came to  half of the text .

I was depressed . There were many problems in this class . First , in order to go through all the language points ,I neglected to develop the ss’ ability of understanding the text as a whole .The whole class only included language points , dull and boring . Second ,I forgot to bring my cell phone . The clock in the classroom was broken . So I didn’t leave 10 minutes to deal with the mistakes in the homework . Because the time was so limited and the bell had rang , I couldn’t let the students mark out what to do and what to delete . I had done all the exercises before the class . I don’t want the ss to do the same exercises which they have grasped  . I want to save the ss’s time . Yet , after this class , I had no choice but to let the ss to the exercises of this class period without any deleting and finish the class hastily.

 I care about each class . Time is too valuable to waste .

 I regret I haven’t prepared the lesson well enough . But there is no regret medicine in the world .

  I must prepare the next lesson well enough ,just like giving a public lesson . Thinking of this ,I feel better .
