From this semester , my son begins to do his homework with all his classmates in his classroom from 6 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. Every night , in the classroom a parent of one of the students and a teacher will in charge of the order of the class . Time is urgent and the students will take the high school entrance examination in a very short time .

Tonight , every teacher went to attend a meeting ,only leaving a parent in the classroom.

I went to the fourth floor where my son was . When I looked into the classroom through the glass in the door, I found my son and his two other partners were laughing and playing .The girl next to my son hit the boy in the front on the head with her pen several times .The boy kept turning backwards, grinning cheekily. Why couldn’t they be serious when most other students were so busy studying quietly ?

I watched for a while ,disappointed and angry . My son saw me and lowered his head and began to study .

I left .But I couldn’t help going back to watch them . I was afraid that they ,especially my son would waste time like that .

When I got there , the boy’ head still turned here and there . Without thinking , I opened the door and went in . I went to the boy and asked ,”You are Peter ,right ? Can’t you stop turning back? ” It was quiet all the classroom .

What am I ? Is it right for me to criticize the boy who is my son’s classmate ? What will my son think of this matter ? Have I caused any trouble to my son ?

Thinking of this ,I remember one thing . If two children fight with each other , it’s not wise for the parents to argue or give the other child a lesson . It’s better for the children to deal with the matter by themselves. What a parent can do is to help his own child analyse and know how to get along well with other children .

What have I thought of myself as ? A teacher or a parent ? At that time , I just wanted them to study quietly and absorbedly. Why couldn’t I keep calm and ask my own son not to waste time ?

Have I made a mistake again?
