It’s near the end of the summer vacation . And my son has gone to take the military training as a freshman of the senior high school . During the vacation , when he studied , I read books or newspapers . I didn’t want to set him a bad example who was addicted to surfing the Internet .I used to watch TV series on the computer for more than 10 hours without sleep . I seldom used the computer to study . It made me sleepy ,tired and growing old faster .

Since my son lives at school now, I can do everything I like . Just now I watched two movies . I don’t want to go on watching any more . It’s a waste of time to keeping watching movies or drama series. I think I should think about what I can do every day .

Time and tide wait for no man . The other day , I went to the school . I saw many pupils who would go to the junior middle school . They looked so young and innocent . It made me think of my son of their age . He was timid and went into others’ classroom by mistake . Now he is much taller and stronger . Yes , he has grown up and changed a lot . But what have I achieved in the past three years ? I am getting older and older . The only change of me is my age.

I still want to make some progress , although I won’t change my job and I won’t have any chance or challenge in my life , I think . But I should still cherish my every day . I should improve myself and try to get a bit success . I want to be more confident . And I should make my daily life more colourful . What’s more , when I talk with my son or someone else , I hope they won’t think I am out .

2012-9-11These days we have some difficulty surfing the Internet . It’s said that there’s something wrong with some kind of machine which can transport the information . My son assigned me a task to download the famous cartoon movie-Kenan when I am in my workunit. And when he comes back from school , he can watch them . After trying , I quitted. It’s a waste of time , I think . Yesterday I downloaded some episodes into my hard disk. I tried to watch them on TV ,yet I failed . It’s not in the right form . How disappointing it was ! Computers are useful ,but sometimes it can kill my much time . It’s really bad to leave a lot of work undone when it’s already the time for me to go home  because of searching for movies for a long time This morning I tried again . I couldn’t find Kenan in the right form which is suitable for TV . I don’t know if I am wrong . But I decided to let my son down .

I want my son to be happy when he is free at weekends . I hope he can relax himself . Yet , I don’t want him to spend too much time watching cartoons . After all , he is a senior high school student . I want him to know more about different information about real life instead of living in cartoons .
