My current life and my worry

It’s a long time since I said something here last time . I am glad I have time to enjoy myself now. My son will leave home and go to college in two months.And it’s time for me to arrange my own life .Yes , I have almost forgotten who I am. In the past few years , I have spent most of my work and my son . It’s said that some parents will find it difficult to get used to the life without a child around . But I won’t feel sad after my son leave for college ,I think. I have a lot of plans . I want to learn dancing . I want to have enough time to swim, play pingpong and badminton .And I also want to watch some TV programmes, do some reading and sit for a while in the coffee shop with my best friends at times.
Although it is summer holiday , I am still used to getting up at five o’clock as usual . After breakfast , I read some English blogs . And then ----
There are two boys at my home . One is my son and the other is my nephew . I don’t understand why they are so interested in playing computer games or looking at cell phones . Why don’t they go to the gym to shape\strengthen their bodies ?Why don’t they do some reading? Why don’t they go out to do some part-time jobs ? And why don’t they make a good plan to avoid wasting time? Is it wise to stay at home all day long ,just playing ? I know they won’t agree with me or accept my own advice .But I believe the society is a big school and they will know what to do . So I won’t waste my energy keeping reminding them what to do . The most important thing for me is to arrange my own life wisely . How do you spend your spare time ,my dear friends ?

- Well, just like gardening, you have potted your plants and the flowers have grown. Now is the time for you to relax and enjoy. Consider upgrading your knowledge by learning something useful. A new language. may be or join some interest groups if you have them over there. Kids are kids, they would never put down those cellphones and computer games, no matter what you say. You don't have to take that too seriously. Let them play but remind them that after the holidays, it would be studies. You have sacrificed a few years to care for them so enjoy your days now.

- I think now you are at the point that you have own time to do something that you were not allowed to do before since you had to take care of your son and coped with work. It is a good news. Because you are sort of free on some level, and meanwhile that your son have grownup yet and is going to study in the college.
It is now the kids' time to do relax for themselves by playing computers or cellphones, they are ok by doing that. What you need to do is to tell them that they also need to work hard when it comes to the study.
Wish you can arrange your plans well and have a good time.

- yes , I completely agree with you all . Thanks for your comments .Father Time is the best teacher and the society is the best school . I am sure without me ,my son will know what to do . I just need to share my opinion and experiences about life with him ,but it's he who shapes his own life and future . I can't push him too hard ,otherwise neither of us will be relaxed or happy . Thanks for your sharing again.
