We talked about the image of chinese in foreigners'eyes yesterday. Reto,our oral English teacher,who comes form Germany said these who never come to China think Chinese are very rich but in fact in his eyes,at least, it is not true. What leads to this? With bags of luxuries, more and more rich people return form forgien countries. Foreigners are shocked by chinese's great consumption. Rote gave us a example. There is a project aiding developing countries building schools in rural in germany. When he suggested helping chinese they said chinese are so rich and why they can not do it themselves. It is so ironic. We all know the situation in China is not so good but... The rich are not willing to donate their money to improve some poor people's living condition,but spend them buying luxuries to show off. How pathetic a society! Now facing the debt crisis,the EUzone regard China as their straw. Of cause China won't refuse because we are "rich" Although our money just is a pile of American stock(i do not know how to say) We should find a way to build a proper image not a very rich country externally a poor country internally.
