My attitude towards western culture and civilization

The following is my attitude and imagination towards domestic and alien culture and civilization when I was in America this Aug:
It is generally/commonly believed that the chief/cardinal/primary/dominating reason for the increase in population in developped countries is not so much the rise in birth rates as the decline in death rates as a result of the development in medical care.
There is no denying that the increase in demand and need causes/results in the rise in prices.
Addtional social pressure/stresses may also occur because of the population explosion or problems arising from mass migration movements--themselves made relatively easy by modern vehicles.
Along with the implementation of opening and reform policy,thousans upon thousands of forelgn/alien tourists/visitors are crowding/swarming into our country.They are very eager to see this old mysterious land with a brilliant and splendid culture of more than 5000 years.
Tourism brings China a lot of benefits.In the first place/For one thing,it enables the Chinese people to know more about the outside world and promote close friendship and deep understanding.Secondly/For another thing,it is financially beneficial to China,which need a great deal of foreign currencies for its modernization program.
Tourism,however,causes/gives rise to/brings about a number of problems.For instance,it becomes a burden to inefficient transportation system.
Besides,the living standard of the average Chinese people is still not high enough to afford the many various/different/diverse kinds/sorts of expenses during long-distance travel.
As for me,with the development of our national economy,I acknowledge and believe,all these problems will certainly/of course be solved/tackled/disposed step by step.
A much brighter and better future awaits us.
when an opportunity comes,it brings a promise but never realizes it on its own.
If you have the desire to accomplish/achieve something or intend to fulfill one of your ambitions,you must work hard,make efforts and get prepared.Otherwise,you will take no advantage of opportunities when they come to visit you.
The distinction/discrepancy/difference between a man who succeeds and one who does not lies only in the way each treats opportunity.The successful persons always make adequate/ample/sufficient preparations to meet opportunities as the duly arrive.Unfortunately the failure,on the other hand,works little and just waits to see them pass by.
