Yesterday I discovered a piece of news on JIn magazine. The news said Tianjin is developing Canal tourism at present. Perhaps you might to know a little bit about Canal in my hometown. People usually called “The Beijing- Hangzhou Grand Canal”. It is one of longest man-made waterway in the world, almost 1800 kilometers long. People usually called Canal in Tianjin as The North and South Canal. The bank of canal is planted greenery, paved roads along the canal. Furthermore, some scenic spots located near the North canal, such as Country Park in Wuqing district, Tianjin Rivers’ divergence in Hebei district, Yangliuqing ancient Village, ancient culture street etc. To enjoy the charm of these scenic spots, tourists could boat on the canal by sightseeing boat. The totally length of Tianjin Grand canal reaches 190 kilometers. Generally Speaking, my hometown is one of most comfortable and safety cities in China.
