The Rain of Last Night

Last night, around 8, a relentless autumnal rain came and drummed upon my windowpane. I was very excited when the exquisite sound touched my acoustic organs. My fiance poked his head round the window curtain and said it was raining. Yeah, it was raining. l knew it. At the night of late Autumn, the raindrops brought the sky's kisses to the earth again. Outside, there must be a cold nip in the air because l could hear the footsteps and the shouting of poeple who were driven to homes by the sudden rain. On the contrary, inside, l mean, in my house, lights filled the air with warmth. My fiance and l were just reading books. Suddenly, I thought of my childhood. At that time, I really liked the rainy days. My firends and l always went up the hills to pluck some locally grown, uncultivated produce according to the weather report--of course, we did it in the rainy days, no umbrellas and no raincoats. We thought doing some activities in the rain was full of romance.HA

- There was heavy downpour at my home also. I was sitting in a car and cannot even see the car in front of me. At home, it rained so heavy that I could only see blurred images of people struggling in the rain. It is kind of romantic to me too. I guess everyone has that feeling.
