John is always busy at work on weekdays. His wife Jane takes care of their 3-years-old son usually.

A weekend, Jane needed to go out to do something. So she asked her husband to look after the child.

At first, the little guy was palying with his toys in his own bed room silently. John thought maybe his boy was a quiet one, so he walked into the living-room and watched the baseball game on TV. The game was really wonderful and John throw himself into it totally. He screamed and shouted during the game time, and then he felt thirsty. He forgot that Jane was not at home and  shouted at the top of his's voice:"Honey, please give me a cup of water!" Jane always prepared a cup of water in time when John needed it, but now she's out...To his surprise, his water was coming when John just realized his wife's absence--his son walked to him with faltering steps, with a cup of water in his little hands.

John was so exicited and drank off the whole cup. He passed his hand across the baby's forehead:"OH, sweetie, you are so kind to me!"

The kid was encouraged by his dad's praise. He got the empty cup, then staggered out of the hliving-room, and fetched another cup of water for John. John drank it again.

In this way, John got his son's water again and again when he watching the game. This was really an extremely successful share-time with the little boy.

When Jane came home, he told her everything and praised their son again. The baby was too sensible.

Jane exclaimed when she heared that:"OH,honey, our baby is too short to reach the tap of water dispensers(饮水机）."
"SO, where do you think he got the water?" John asked in doubt.
Jane frowned and answered smilingly:" l thuoght our son just can reach the toilet..."
