Why Holland women feel happy(1)? (MT)

Holland seems a forgotten land by feminism: Holland women are never want work full days, they prefer to spend three hours drink a cup of coffee everyday but these charge totally take by their husbands—whether they find the secret of happiness?

Have you ever considered what life would be like if feminism had never happened, whether we were still housewives? Whether we were not required to live on our wisdom and fire? Whether we impossible to found our interests and hobbies? Whether the men were happy to accept everything and take care of us?

What I say is return to 50s last country to see what’s life they are? No, take it easy, I am catching a flight to Amsterdam.

A recently report shows that fewer than ten percent women work in full-time, but their salary different are the top in Europe.

But how amazing is: not only these babiess mother work two or three days per week, but also older women who care for elderly relatives, it is child-free women in teir 20s-30s too.

Even, this life makes them incredibly happy. Recently a new book namedhelland women donget depressed, it explains why Holland women did not depressed, because most of them are part-time work. They earn less and have less, they depend on their husbands and boyfriends to living, but they dont care. What they want is relax, read books and chat with friends.

Some investigates show Holland women don’t want to spend more time in work, they refuse extended work time, even if they don’t have children. And they are horrified by British women’s lack of free time.

I have travelled to Holland to find out why they do not want to equality, career achievement, free and power and so on.

Are they not bored? Have they worry lose self position? Where are their ambitions?

I met Maic, 30 years old, we changed ideas. I tell her I work 75 hours per week( around 11 hours one day), no holidays off from Christmas, even, that to me my work is my identity. When I was a editor in a daily paper, I had lunch away from my desk once in five years. .
