Why do so many people seem to enjoy the feeling of being scared?  From ghost stories to game of "murder in the dark", spine-chilling thrillers to roller coasters, bothe children and adults seem drawn like proverbial moths to the flames of mnufactured fear. Maybe the spirit world of people is so bland and tiresome.
