The weather is very comfortable in September, a little cold in the morning and evening but still some hot noon time, and the people her always have noon time sleep of 1-2 hours for the whole year, longer sleep in hot summer, shorter in winter.
I have to clarify they are not lazy but very diligent. They start work at 6 O' clock in the morning and end at 19:00, about 10 hours at least, we all know what we do in the early morning 6 O'clock! My father gets up at 4:30 in the morning and turns on his lovely radio which accompanies him for many years, and do some housework in the yard cleaning, watering the vegetables...
(I stop here for 10 minutes for my breakfast at 6 O' clock)
I did not get a good sleep for the first night and will sleep very well for the next days. I got up at 5:00 today, not tired but very energetic. In this village people start using the running water a few years ago, the water is not from water factory and not treated, but don't worry it is directly from the deep well and exactly mineral water, and it is only charged 1 RMB per one person but it is only available from 4:30 AM to 7:30 PM. With the running water the village people start using the flush toloit, solar energy water heater for bath, the living conditions are really upgraded.
Another change is that I see lots of grass and flowers on both sides of the gate instead of a dump heap and pig feces. The grass is wild, the flowers are planted. When I was young you did not see any green wild grass in the village because we have a lot of goats and sheep. This showes a big change. The animals are put into a big farm to feed, and the farm is far from the living houses, and people lives on more industrial work than the labor work in farming. They spend less and less time in farming and more and more time in the factory and the labor work in big citites
I am very happy to see the changes.
Today's plan to take my parents to the town(county), to buy a LED TV, some clothes and have lunch together. I will be very busy for the next week, but no worry I have time since I can get up at 5 O' Clock.
